the principal is very unprofessional same with some teachers...as you can tell i used to this school as the school helped me to make this gmail account and i recovered it to write this,im writing a review for this school because i want my voice heard after being scared to tell what happened to me, now im not going to say the names of anyone or the whole story because for privacy reasons and i dont want dumb drama just because i wanted to speak up and i don't want a another kid deal with the same thing i had to...some of the teachers are very unprofessional...one day my mom sent a email regarding one my issues...i told unnamed teacher to look at the email and she said "your mom doesn't pay my paychecks she isn't the boss of me" because of what she said made me have a anxiety attack i had to go to the front office because i started feeling dizzy...i feel like if you go to a special needs school, teachers will be more understanding but i guess not...their was some drama i had with another kid I'm not going to say their name they went to the office and told the school about our drama...instead siting down with both students to see what happening like any professional should do...she came to me and yelled at me in front of everyone, causing me have a big anxiety attack...first of all if you are a human with common sense that's the worst way to fix problems especially if the kid has SPECIAL NEEDS... the principal doesn't even have the full story to even take action yet...i mean this kindly but to be honest that is very arrogant of her... she threaten me to EXPEL me if i kept miss behaving...i was scared to talk...i cried at home for weeks i was terrified...i had nightmares of losing my life...if that goes to my record i wont be able to seek higher education...i felt like i will lose everything...psychology wise if someone is force to stay quiet about something, some day it will spill....i felt sadness,resentment,angry...i became so unstable that it spilled...i started talking about what happened ...the next day i was kicked out..i lost it, i thought i lost my life that i will never become anything if that stained my record...my mom told me its not on there. But at first i didn't believe her but i soon did... i want to write a review for closure as i felt so much resentment I'm not writing this to make more drama i just want peace of mind and to warn other future students...i guess the principal can now say that i am scaring off her students to come back to school...if the principal seeing this, accusations is going to be the death of you and if any my old classmates see this Hello...if any moms or dads thinking taking their kid there, just take in consideration i had to say.....thank you for reading this all and have a wonderful day

It's a honor to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation to The Arbor School of Central Florida. My daughter Samantha has autism, she is a former student at The Arbor school which has been a great impact in my daughter's educational growth and in every aspect of her life. We continue to see how far she has become academically and socially with the hard work, devotion, dedication of all the wonderful teachers, therapists and adiministrative staff. As a autism mom its priceless to have my daughter in a school that their mission and commitment is to ensure that our children have a productive and independent life. The Arbor school has become family to us and it's a privilege to be part of this wonderful school. Sincerely, Karina Pinedo

I first came to The Arbor School in 2013 and I really love all the teachers, therapists, and students ever since for 5 years straight. Ms. Wendy showed me the way to be a great student with lots of respect, kindness for all students, and teachers around. She helped me through internships jobs, we go to work every afternoon for my last couple of years and helped me graduate with her help covering it all. I can't thank her enough for her kind spirit. The school is really awesome and I can visit anytime every month as an alumina/volunteer with the kids.

I often see the Arbor School high school students in their transition workplace. They are kind and respectful and hard working. It's great to see a school work so hard for their students to be successful

As a supporter of, volunteer at, and alumna of The Arbor School of Central Florida I am extremely proud to review Arbor as a FIVE star non-profit. Arbor took me in Spring Semester of 2013 and set me for the real world in May 2016. Looking back at my time as a student at Arbor, I can recall many wonderful memories.

Arbor School of Central Florida is has been helping my son throughout his childhood and now ongoing to his preteen years. Their kindness and understanding has been a constant during my severely autistic son's growth. This has contributed to his quality of life. Thanks Arbor for all you do!

Arbor School of Central Florida is a wonderful place. My son has multiple learning and physical disabilities, and sometimes it is hard to find a place where he fits in and feels welcome. This school is amazing and even though he has only attended there a few months, he already feels like family! The staff is so caring and knowledgeable, and they take time to get to know each student and find their strength and weaknesses. We don't know what we would do without this school!

My experience with The Arbor School has been incredible. My daughter has attended the school for the past 3 years. The staff is wonderful and my daughter loves to go to school and see her friends. Three years ago I had to leave public school because I had an awful experience and they were not a good fit. The Arbor School was understanding and took my daughter right away. They have supported our daughter/family in many ways. Their curriculum is specific for every daughter. They work on academic, social skills and daily living. We are so happy we were able to find such a great school for our daughter.

The Arbor School has been the best thing that could have happened to our son and to be honest our family. They have the most caring staff! They understand our son and that is the best thing about it. We had him in another private school that never took the time to help or understand him. I have thanked them so much for everything they have done to get our son on the right track. I love that when he stays with his grandmother he tells her he loves school. Our son was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome and ADHD. We love The Arbor school! If you need some peace of mind and want your child in a school that cares bring them here. Thank you for all you do! We are on our third year :) 2nd -3rd and now 4th!

We found Arbor School, at the recommendation of our developmental pediatrician, after 2 years and 3 months of disastrous encounters in public as well as another private option that “specialized in educating special needs children” after moving to Florida from Michigan. We are now entering our third year at Arbor as a 10th grader and we couldn’t be happier, or feel more honored, to be a part of this school!
The Arbor difference is in the staff that shows genuine care for your child- they take the time needed to know your child as a person, not merely their academics. This was evident from the first week of attendance and has not changed. My son has been appropriately challenged academically in ways that he continues to grow and move forward at a consistent pace. He has made friends and navigated typical teen social situations with support from the teachers as well as the administrative staff.
We have considered moving back to our home state, and one of the biggest factors in choosing to stay in Florida, is Arbor School. We could not ask for more! This school ranks tops for us in: communication, staff and student relationships, social support, academics that are on target for our son and ensuring a well-rounded education that includes specials and physical activity.
