Mission: The mission of riverfront activity center, incorporated is to provide a continuum of innovative support for individuals with disabilities so they may live meaningful lives.
Programs: Community living - riverfront offers services that provide opportunities for adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible. Opportunities include housekeeping skills development, wellness training and support, mobility training, technology support, community involvement coaching and support, budgeting, home modification consultation and grocery shopping. Participants may live by themselves or with housemates, in supported housing or in adult family homes. They receive support from riverfront employees who provide support as needed, ranging from dropping by as needed to providing continual in-home support.
community employment - riverfront employment programs serve adults participating in our programs and local employers by indentifying and securing employment that matches participant goals with employer needs. Riverfront provides training and coaching to participants with disabilities in a wide variety of community jobs. Riverfront operates three production plants that provide prevocational training services and work opportunities.
benefits counseling - riverfront's highly trained benefits counselors serve participants and their families/guardians by analyzing their unique situation and helping them determine how they can transition into the workforce.
