Mission: Providing hope to the brokenhearted and purpose to those whose spirits have been crushed. This is accomplished by providing relief, care, treatment, adn training to children, adults, and families who are distressed, underprivileged, or in need of care to restore them to effective functioning emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Programs: Appalachian family outreach served 12 households from northeast tennessee with adoption and home study services during fy 16-17. There were 15 children served with adoption services.
appalachian family outreach provided 6 households from the community with ongoing counseling services while offering counseling and consultation services to guests of chalet retreat ministries who request this service as part of their stay.
through the chalet retreat ministries, appalachian family outreach provided restorative care and consultation to 314 adults and 147 children during fy 2016 17. These households were experiencing distress, burnout, or life transition.
