Mission: Another way provides a safe and friendly place to share community, to network and to learn from each other. We welcome everyone, especialy persons seeking to overcome struggles and live well. Another way grew out of the psychiatric survivor movement to counter oppressive systems of control and we continue to advocate for freedom and self-determination of care.
Programs: Operated a community center for psychiatric survivors and people experiencing homelessness seven days a week that provided holistic mental services, advocacy, resources, and opportunities for creative expression and the development of physical health and social engagement for unique individuals as well as continually providing individualized assistance to those experiencing crises.
