Causes: Education, Two-Year Colleges
Mission: The mission of the anoka-ramsey community college foundation is to build friendships and funds to enrich students' lives by maximizing private gift support of the students and the college through student scholarships.
Programs: The anoka-ramsey community college foundation awarded multiple scholarships and grants to current students of our campus. Scholarships were awarded by the allocations committee of the board of directors. Grants were awarded based upon the criteria of the donor. Grants went to students under two programs. "random acts of kindness" which is designed for emergencies that would keep currently enrolled students from completing their education. The second grant is the "otto bremer scholarship grant" which is intended to encourage students to complete their education in two years. Including both scholarship and grants, anoka-ramsey community college foundation made awards to 138 students.
