AAA always provides great information to educate others about a variety of animals. They are a wonderful point of contact when needing help relocating or caring for an animal. I have learned a lot about best practices from following them on social media.
Rhonda and her team at Animal Awareness
and Assistance are amazing. They supply wonderful education as well as help animals and their owners to stay together. Highly recommend!
A3 is an organization that is filled with love. Love for animals and compassion for the humans that love animals. They have not only stepped out to help animals who need medical assistance and ultimately homes, they have also assisted humans who just needed a helping hand in order to keep the animals they love.
AA & A are absolutely amazing with all of the animals they help. Rhonda was the foster mom to our sweet Rottweiler, Moly before we adopted her. She was so well taken care of and loved during her time there. You can really tell how much they love the animals in their care.
Such a great organization. I know first hand about their dedication to their mission to help people who have fallen on hard times keep their beloved pets safe until they get back on their feet. This organization shows that a small, dedicated organization can have a big impact on people's lives. Best wishes for their continued success.
We have a small board and a few dedicated volunteers, but we work hard to put our mission statement into effect. I am a board member who is also a volunteer whenever my help is needed.

I am a board member and the proud mother of the founder of Animal Awareness & Assistance. We are still small, but we are always looking for ways to grow so that we can better serve those animal lovers in need and find more ways to educate animal "parents"(especially new owners). The funds that have been raised have helped to feed and house horses, dogs, and cats. In addition cat shelters have been provided in various areas during cold weather and have helped in a catch/spayed & neuter/release program for feral cats. We have no paid members. Our volunteers, though few in numbers along with the board members decorate horseshoes, make things like tote bags from feed bags and sew dog and cat beds. We try very hard to make a difference. We just want to be able to do more.
Animal Awareness and Assistance is a small Not for profit group that makes a huge difference in the lives of animals and their owners. One of the ways they help is to foster the animals of owners who have fallen on hard times. Once they are back on their feet they will be reunited with their pets. It makes a big difference for many people to know that their beloved pets are well cared for during their times of struggle. Not many groups offer this to those in need. I would give them a five star rating any time. It just amazes me what a difference a small, dedicated group of people can make.Attached is a picture of one of the lucky fosters.
A-cubed has provided assistance to those who have had horses in need, as well as educating the public at large on proper body weight and scores for horses. They are a wealth of information! Keep up the great work!
My husband and I became aware of this nonprofit organization when we decided it was time for our first pet adoption. We are now the very proud parents of Belle, a 4 year old rottie who was left with this organization at age 2. They cared for and loved Belle as if she were their own for two years and that was obvious from the first meeting. We felt so comfortable with our first adoption because of all of the information they provided regarding Belle, her history, her likes/dislikes, health concerns, etc. Cannot thank them enough for being there to care for our 4 legged baby and giving her so much love!
I have been able to give numerous service related donations to A3. When personal tragedy struck they were there at a moment's notice with supplies needed for my animals.

A Cubed is a great local non profit. I have done numerous service donations on behalf of my equine nutrition business to help them. This past month I lost my home to a fire. I was in need of temporary crates for my dogs and an solar fence charger for the horses. A Cubed was there and stepped in and allowed me to borrow items in my time of need. This is an organization dedicated to helping people and animals alike.
Acubed was founded because there was a need in the Fredericksburg area to provide assistance so families could keep their pets during hard times. One of the core values is to offer education as it pertains to animal welfare. In addition to helping several families get through difficult times and be reunited with their pets, Acubed also provides assistance with major medical bills so families do not feel the need to abandon or turn over their pets. I can’t think of a better non-profit to spend my time with.
My wife and I were blessed to adopt a dog through A³. The organization had retrieved her from a kill shelter in NC. Although, like every shelter dog, her past was unknown, she has been an excellent dog. She has become a beloved family member, and we are grateful for the opportunity to give her a home. Thank you A³ for the wonderful fur baby!
I learned of Animal Awareness & Assistance through one of my closest friends. It was her daughter who was beginning to establish her vision, this amazing non profit that provides information, resources and assistance. I fully agreed with the mission of this organization from the beginning and have watched it grow over the years. They are an all volunteer group that operate on a shoe string budget. There is no paid staff so they are totally an all volunteer non profit. I consider A Cubed to be a GREAT group!
My story begins a few years ago when I was at my lowest point. I had 2 of the most amazing horses that you could have ever met. They were my life, Molly and Midnight, as i was struggling financially and could not afford to feed them, they began to lose a lot of weight and rain rot had set in. I was devastated that my babies were having to go through that. I cried everyday for them until i met Rhonda at Animal Awareness and Assistance, she was a blessing and took my horses in, brought them back to what a healthy and happy horse is supposed to be. She also has asked me if I wanted to take them back when they recovered but I was not able to. So she put them up for adoption and within a few weeks, they were both adopted thru people that she knew was a good fit for my babies. She never asked for anything and she was truly a blessing for them. As much as I miss them, I know they are safe and in good hands now because of her. If you ever need assistance, I know she will take care of your babies also.
I took in a pit-mix that a trade partner could no longer care for. I thought I would get her spayed and find her a home. I found out she has heartworm and lyme disease. I reached out to several rescue organizations and they were full. A friend of mine shared my story with Rhonda at Animal Awareness & Assistance and right away, she was willing to help me with the cost to get Kiki treated. They have also recommended other organizations that may be able to help me find her a home. I honestly had not heard of this organization but I will begin supporting it in whatever way I can. Thank you so much for what you do.
In the interest of full disclosure, I should say right off my wife is the founder of A-Cubed. I have had a front row seat to most of the great things this group has done. From providing critical information to animal owners through their website, Twitter and Facebook, to looking after an adorable basset hound puppy who couldn't stay with her family in the hotel in which they were living temporarily. From the horses that have been rescued and given new leases on life to the one currently being cared for while her owner seeks a new home, to the adorable rottie pup they've cared for for over a year (she'd love a new forever home) the group has done some really fine work. Above all, the organization fills a niche in the animal care/rescue world that I've never seen before - keeping families together wherever possible by instruction and, if necessary, temporary care. If you love animals and can imagine the pain of having to let your beloved friend go because of hard times, support this group, the family you help keep together could be your own some day!
This wonderful organization provided volunteer animal care when my elderly mother entered an assisted living facility and could no longer take care of her most precious family member- her dog! Volunteers shared shifts with family members to be sure her little fox terrier was walked, fed and loved each day. Thank you, Animal Awareness and Assistance ❤️
I have been proud to be part of happy family reunions with their pets! A-cubed has done an excellent job of helping numerous people financially with the care of their animals or ones they were trying to help. We've helped dogs, cats, and horses, including adoptions of those that couldn't return to their families. Many people have received education through free events or requested resources/advice.
