Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: AAWL is fighting to break the vicious cycle. Millions of kittens are born every year in this country. During the kitten season in April and September, shelters kill unwanted cats at a rate of one per minute. Less fortunate ones are left to wander the streets, and are easy targets for neglect and animal cruelty. If they manage to survive, the females give birth to 4 to 5 kittens, continuing the vicious cycle. AAWL continues to rescue and s/n animals and find loving homes. Because the animals are voiceless and helpless we give them the chance they deserve.
Results: AAWL has spayed-neutered approximately 6,000 cats over the past 25 years.
