I was told about Angels in Horse Hairs by a friend and soon became very interested in the purpose they serve. Helping those with special needs and being associated with wounded and disabled veterans, Angels in Horse Hairs has found a unique way to assist the public. Having helped the organization on multiple occasions, the staff is exceptionally friendly and dedicated with the real sense of commitment to helping those that can make use of horse therapy.
I came to Angels in Horse Hairs as a volunteer because of my love for horses and soon learned how wonderful of a program that Claire has developed. It is so rewarding to know I am learning how horses are used in therapy for children and adults whether it is for a child that is Austic or an adult that is going through a difficult time. Claire has so many great ideas that she is so passionate about that she wants to get started, such as something for Wounded Warriors. I look forward to the weekends because that is my time away from the stresses of everyday life and I am able to center my focus and attention on the horses and learning the programs that were established. Claire and the horses are so deserving of this award!
