Mission: Angeldocs believing in the principle that health is a birthright, through advocacy, mentoring and health literacy is dedicated to a mission of improving lives by supporting wellness, accessibility and affordability of quality healthcare, skills and tools to prevent diseases to all but, especially to those most vulnerable members in our communities.
Programs: Through multi-media especially healthmatterz and health workshops, angeldocs increased the number of those who are skilled and knowledgeable in lifestyle changes to improve their well-being. The incidence of chronic diseases were ameliorated through prevention.
angeldocs believes that wellness and good health serve as prerequisite for economic and educational wellbeing. This is evidenced in our programs which are directed towards revitalization initiative in our community: healthmatterz, a health and social literacy program that reaches hundreds of thousands weekly over television. Foundation of good health starts before the food is cooked. Clients are taught about fresh food through gardening and health food preparation. Prevention of diseases and reduction in risk and incident of chronic diseases are possible through both reach one teach one and people health clinic programs.
