Mission: Assist youth to develop goals, skills, and the confidence needed to transition successfully to post-secondary education, or training and the world of work, by providing school-to-career services. My turn is a dropout prevention and intervention solution, whose services are distinguished by where and when work with youth occurs, focusing on gateway cities, small cities with fewer resources and higher needs. The organization delivers education and training to youth as they make gateway choices, in critical moments when a life choice cannot be easily unmade, when success or failure is equally possible.
Programs: Youth development: provided job placement skills, training, and hiset instruction for in-school and out-of-school youth at multiple site locations. Delivered services to approximately 500 youth in fiscal year 2017.
