Mission: Aabgu plays a vital role in sustaining david ben gurion's vision, creating a world class institution of education and research in the israeli desert, nurturing the negev community and sharing the university's expertise locally and around the globe.

the aabgu zin fellows leadership development program is a two-year program, incorporating two in-person gatherings in the united states followed by a trip to israel. Each zin fellows class consists of 15 to 20 outstanding individuals, ages 35 to 50, current and future community leaders from across the united states, who are interested in a new and unique opportunity to be engaged in the future of israel through their connection to the negev region.
