In august 2016, aslgvp, inc. Supported a national policy conference for legislators. A large majority of aslgvp's resources in 2016 were dedicated to supporting the conference. Aslgvp, inc. Also supports interactive conference calls and webinars for legislators to receive policy presentations from experts and researchers on gun violence prevention, and participate in discussions with the experts and fellow legislators. These are an ongoing activity year-round. Aslgvp, inc. Also seeks to provide ongoing educational and informational resources for legislators and others interested in gun violence prevention and related matters of public concern, fielding informal inquiries and connecting legislators with experts and colleagues in and out of government who can provide such resources.
