Mission: The American Haitian Association for Medical, Economical, & Educational support (AHAMES) was founded in 2006, grew out of the need to help the poor in Haiti. To save the patients time, money, and the risk of having to run errand to satisfy their healthcare needs, AHAMES provide all the medical services on site. This includes: X-Ray, Ultrasound, EKG, Medication, Laboratory services and testing etc. The organization delivers free meals to school children, pays the scholarship of those originated from no or low income families. AHAMES also feeds and provides health care to poor and malnourished women, and the elderly. The organization also supports several livelihood enhancement projects to promote economic self sufficiency.
