Mission: American Baptist International Ministries, organized in 1814, is the oldest Baptist Mission agency formed in North America. We serve more than 2,500 short-term missionaries annually, bringing U.S. and Puerto Rico churches together with partners in 76 countries in cutting-edge ministries that tell the good news of Jesus Christ while meeting human needs.
Programs: The Volunteers in Global Mission team exists to enable people to respond to God’s call on their life by equipping, encouraging, and providing opportunities for volunteer service. Through preplanned trips, supporting local church trips, and placing volunteers in places of service, the VIGM program serves over 1500 people per year.
