Mission: Amend's mission is to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based interventions to reduce the incidence
Programs: In 2017 we furthered those aims via: the implementation of our primary school road safety education programs in 10 countries across africa to over 50,000 children; the installation of improved infrastructure (such as speed bumps, sidewalks, signage, and zebra crossings) around 15 primary schools where children are at high-risk of road traffic injury in 10 countries in africa; scientific research into the causes and impact of road traffic injuries in four countries in africa; and advocacy for improved road safety policies and practices in 10 countries in africa; and more.
