Mission: Promote programs and projects of rotary club of alturas and rotary international with focus on enhancing the well-being of the community of alturas, the greater modoc county area, and rotary international projects world-wide
Programs: Improvements to the junior livestock showgrounds (jls). Significant progress has been made in erecting a building to house livestock during 4h events. Also, improvements have been made for surrounding drainage, animal wash racks, portable panels, and rv parking.
improvements to community ball fields have begun, including preparatory engineering to plan improved access, weed control, and drainage to mulitple fields. Have also added utility infrastructure.
provided project management and engineering costs to build a community skate park.
