as the only mission-driven, kansas city-based cdfi exclusively serving low- to moderate-income communities in kansas city, missouri, altcap is a critical source of small business capital for small and micro business that are undeserved by traditional financial institutions. In fy2016 altcap provided small and microloans to a variety of businesses through its targeted loan funds which include the facade improvement loan fund, artcap microloan fund for artists, and the diversified contractors growth fund mbe/wbe contractor loan fund.
