Mission: Alignment nashville is working to improve the education and health of our community's youth by providing tools that bring the community together for more effective results than we could each accomplish alone.
Programs: Alignment nashville a-teams (committees): alignment nashville continued its leadership work in community wide initiatives through several committees comprised of 350+ representatives from education, non-profits, government agencies, businesses, and faith organizations. Partners who engage through the alignment principles, structure, process and technology continue to break new ground with deeper and more impactful outcomes every year. The alignment nashville a-teams are pre-k/elementary, middle school, high school, academies of nashville, 16-24 year olds, integration of international families, learning technology, teacher recruitment & retention, children's health, adolescent sexual responsibility/healthy starts, behavioral health/sel, school nutrition.
the nashville hub has offered development services and technical assistance to communities across the united states and the united kingdom, and requests for services continue to rise. During 2017-2018 fiscal year, more than 900 educators and partners from 25 states and two countries traveled to nashville to attend the nashville hub's academies of nashville study visit to learn from our community.
alignment usa was formed by alignment nashville (an) in response to growing nationwide interest in an's model of a coordinated support framework for youth empowerment and success in nashville, tennessee. The alignment usa network is a national network of shared practice, made up of alignment communities committed to implementing the alignment principles, structure, process, and technology. Participants in the current community of practice include nashville, tennessee; rockford, illinois; jackson, mississippi; coachella valley, california; bay county, florida; hawaii; elgin,illinois; polk county, florida; sacramento, california; san bernardino, california; detroit, michigan; bay area, california; peoria, illinois; and southern indiana.
