Mission: Womanshelter/companeras increases options for safety for victims of domestic violence by offering comprehensive residential and community-based shelter for women and children, individual counseling, support groups, advocacy in three courts, information and referrals, and housing, medical, and economic advocacy. Womanshelter/companeras also makes over 100 educational presentations a year to enhance community response to domestic violence.
