Kennel Kompadres exists to assist the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department in any way possible. They receive donations of money and items that help to make the life of the animals in the shelter more comfortable. They also support volunteer efforts to provide the animals with human contact and mental stimulation while they are temporarily housed in the shelter. The founder, Vickie Fisher, has a deep commitment to making these animal's lives better and to increase their chances of finding a forever home.
