Causes: Economic Development
Mission: To formulate sound economic policies, ensure a high quality of life for all of alaska's residents while allowing for the perservation of the population's unique character and cultural diversity.
Programs: In 2014, the alaska forward initiative completed the work on the tourism workforce development workgroup. They concluded the gap analysis of existing programs and will now share with the university and other entities what specific training development would best serve the sector.
