international business attraction program - focuses on attracting early stage, technology-based international business through targeted marketing initiatives. Business opportunities are screened to determine best fit for akron. Provide coordinated support for companies entering the u. S. Market though the akron global business accelerator including funding and leveraging appropriate resources.
entrepreneurial signature program - focuses on assisting fledgling entrepreneurs in converting ideas into successful technology-based businesses. Through the agba, entrepreneurs are advised and assisted on all aspects of business development and connected to resources in all areas of expertise necessary to establish business operations and commercialize technologies. Biomaterials commercialization hub- focus is three primary areas of activity: collaboration aimed at developing innovative technologies and prototypes in the areas of biomaterials for orthopedics and wound healing applications; establishing and attracting new companies in these primary area; support urban development of the hub area and foster job creation. The executive director of the hub is responsible for day to day management and planning.
