Mission: To educate the members and the public on what technology can contribute to the security of the united states. To advocate and support military preparedness of the us and its allies. To support air force programs and the langley air force base community. To foster scientific and technical education.
Programs: Support to air force personnel: includes support to the langley air force base organizations. Support is given to the headquarters air combat command, 1st fighter wing, 480th isr and 633rd wing for recognition programs for officers, enlisted and civilian members. Buses are provided for langley afb enlisted personnel and hampton junior rotc cadets to attend the air force association annual convention and technical exposition. education: support was given to the air force associations educational foundation. The langley afb officers' spouses club sponsorship program and the virginia air and space center's education program were supported.
