Causes: Children & Youth, Community Health Systems, Health, International, International Migration & Refugee Issues, Youth Community Service Clubs
Mission: Aid Convoy delivers humanitarian aid, and supports the victims of conflict and disaster in rebuilding their communities.
Results: 16 years of support, including delivering life-saving medical equipment, installing water & sanitation systems, and helping to build the capacity of local volunteers to run their own projects and contribute to reconstructing their own communities.
Target demographics: Victims of conflict and natural disaster.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Youth groups, universities, community centres, trades unions, schools, hospitals, and local government.
Geographic areas served: Primarily the Balkans (including Albania, Bosnia, and Kosova), and Ukraine (around Chernobyl).
Programs: Medical supplies deliveries; emergency supplies deliveries; volunteer and staff training; conflict resolution; organisational support; twinning and other social inclusion projects.
