Mission: Tribal natural resource conservation and management.
Programs: Wild life and resource management capacity building and training. Furthering conservation efforts in the ahtna region through wise use of land, water and related resources on over 30 million acres in the ahtna traditional use area. Included are the following programs: tribal wildlife management demonstration project, ahtna region migratory bird treaty, community wildlife protection, fisheries management partnerships, moose genetic study, tribal agricultural program outreach and community wildlife and habitat enhancement.
