Mission: Afa's mission statment is to build bridges for young leaders to foster engagement and innovation in food and agriculture.
Programs: Experiential opportunities afa provides exposure and access to experiential opportunities for students to gain industry knowledge and experience from corporations, associations, government agencies and small businesses. See footnote 1.
leader development programs afa offers leader development programs that enhance college students- and young professionals' ability to accelerate their role as leaders in the agriculture industry. See footnote 2.
scholarship afa provides leader and academic scholarships to students attending post- secondary institutions. See footnote 3.
allocated administrative support allocation of administrative expenses to support the program services in leader development, young professional development, collegiate relations and other one time learning institute and seminar programs.
