Results: African People & Wildlife has woven coexistence into everyday life. More than 2,100 Living Walls now shield 24,400 pastoralists and 125,000 livestock nightly, virtually ending retaliatory lion killings, while 165 locally hired Warriors for Wildlife defuse thousands of conflicts on the ground. A 1,900-strong women’s beekeeping network safeguards habitat and markets “Mama Asali” honey, and youth programs have reached 19,700 students. Altogether, partner communities now steward over 800,000 acres of revitalized rangeland where people and wildlife thrive.
