Programs: Change for children: since 1999. Africa exchange has been involved in development activities directed towards orphans and vulnerable children. Through direct management and operations, capacity building, project development and funding of institutions, and partner projects geared towards children at risk, substantial gains have been made and lessons learned. Building on these experiences, africa exchange and its development partners have embarked on an integrated child development program that will provide change for children among marginalized populations in kenya. kutana: "immersion" programs for a variety of groups and institutions in which cultural values can be shared between indigenous people, scholars, clergy and cross-cultural workers. Institute of transformational development and appropriate technology: projects our organization takes on to provide some of life's basic needs to the people of sub-saharan africa such as drinking wells, foot bridges, building construction, irrigation systems, and education to more effectively adapt to helpful technologies.

Onoing and completed projects include installation of water wells, pumps, filtration, and storage systems, grassland and tree restoration, greenhnouse/nursery and gardens, fencing, bee keeping, fish farming, and erosion control.
