Mission: Active Eating Disorder Recovery for Adults (AEDRA) supports people suffering from eating disorders in taking action on the path to recovery. We are strongly pro-eating, pro-food, and believe that all food is healing and good for us. We celebrate bodies of all shapes and sizes, and take a health-at-every-size supporting attitude to the human body. We believe that in order to recover from an eating disorder, a person has to eat — eat often, eat in abundance, and eat without restriction. We believe that eating disorders are treatable, and that all humans should be able to find joy in eating.
Target demographics: AEDRA provides educated peer support for people in recovery from eating disorders
Programs: We offer online, phone, and text messaging support for eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and EDNOS — meeting you with what you need to recover, wherever you are.
