Mission: Enhance and promote the professional development of members through education and networking to enable them to create value and to serve as a resource to their organization, healthcare professionals and one another.
Programs: Annual conference - organized an annual conference for members to learn the most up-to-date industry tools and trends available to help recruit and retain physicians in their community. It also offers invaluable opportunities to network with colleagues from across the us and canada. There were over 600 attendees. The conference included a keynote speaker and 20 different breakout sessions.
fellowship program - the aspr fellowship program encompasses knowledge and skills from many varied disciplines including medical practice management, human resources, law, marketing and business. The modules and exams are designed to supplement and expand knowledge and skills across a spectrum of topics leading to a designation as an aspr fellow. The fellowship program consists of three modules: the associate, diplomat, and fellow. There are currently 91 fellows.
journal - publishes the journal of the aspr on the quarterly basis. Each issue of the jasp is sent to approximately 1,000 people and includes valuable information on physician recruitment and retention trends.
