Causes: Environment, Land Resources Conservation
Mission: ACRES Land Trust owns and protects natural and working lands, inspiring people to value, appreciate and support these places for the benefit of all — today and forever.
Results: Today ACRES and its members permanently protect more than 7,500 acres in northeast Indiana, southern Michigan and northwest Ohio. Much of the group's work is focused on acquiring new land for permanent protection, restoring native habitat, hosting a variety of events throughout the year and providing free public access year-round to more than 30 trail systems.
