Causes: Health, Patient & Family Support
Mission: We provide a myriad of social, medical and support services including: visitation, senior citizen assistance, medical supply loan, transportation to and from medical facilities, patient dvd library, shabbos room at area hospitals, hospital meals, clinic counseling, support goups, patient advocacy, patient entertainment, cancer support and family counseling.
Programs: Mental health clinic provided mental health service to over 600 clients monthly during almost 25,000 visits annually.
partners in health program provided patient and family support, 5,600 medical referrals and 20,000 hospital visits and transportation 3,000 times a year for 800 patients in 11 area hospitals, in addition we delivered about 20,000 kosher meals a year to patients, and lent medical supplies. We provided medical advocacy and referrals to individuals during the year, on our 24 hour hotline.
holocaust survivor services provides regular and emergency grants to 110 claimants under a grant from claims conference.
