AccessH2O was a tremendous help for Yuma, AZ residents who were still recovering from the hardships brought on by the global pandemic, COVID-19. For those that qualified, AccessH2O was able to provide the assistance needed to keep their water on. Many were still unemployed and waiting for government assistance when disconnections resumed.
It has been a pleasure to partner with AccessH2O and I'm thankful I was able to offer their services to my community.

Causes: Public & Societal Benefit
Mission: AccessH2O provides financial assistance, education, and support to individuals and families experiencing temporary financial hardship to avoid water shut-off.
Results: We have helped over 1000 people across the United States keep their water on or to reestablish water service after shut-off and maintain it after they have had it previously disconnected.
Target demographics: individuals and families experiencing temporary financial hardship
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 500 individuals after only being in operations for 3 months (October - December)
Geographic areas served: cities across the United States
Programs: financial assistance, education on potential sources of water loss and conservation, and support in related areas such as legal and landlord/tenancy matters.
