Causes: Health, Rehabilitative Care
Mission: To assist in improving the lives of people with disabilities and their families by providing quality diagnostic, therapeutic, educational and referral services in conjunction with other community providers without regard to ability to pay.
Programs: Ilp (infant learning program) project teach - ilp provides early intervention and therapy services to infants and toddlers who experience developmental delays and disabilities. In fiscal year 2017, 363 clients were enrolled.
faces (fetal alcohol community evaluation and services) - faces provides evaluation and diagnosis for children ages 0 -14 years who have been prenatally exposed to alcohol. In fiscal year 2017, 30 families were served.
speech clinic - speech clinic provides therapy services to children and adults without regard to ability to pay. In fiscal year 2017, 32 clients were served (closing august 2018).
loan closet - loans medical assistance equipment (i. E. Wheelchairs, crutches, walkers to children & adults in the community). In fiscal year 2017, 67 community members were served. Rent income - facility rent at a reduced, lower than market value rate from therapists seeing acca and former acca clients and another nonprofit.
