Able Forces consistently excels in its compassion for fellow veterans. I have the utmost appreciation and respect for the work that is accomplished in providing excellent job opportunities for veterans with disabilities. A+++ all the way. Thank you Skip and Kathy!
Able Forces does a tremendous job in helping veterans find good employment opportunities. Skip is extremely passionate about helping veterans in need and his enthusiasm and energy is inspiring. Keep up the great work - always a pleasure working with Able Forces.
Both the mission and the management of this organization exceed expectations. They are completely focused on the wounded vet's well being and ability to be independent through work. I highly recommend them.
Skip and his wife are so passionate about helping veterans find jobs. The first time I met him, he read over my resume, and asked me what I really wanted out of life. Even though I found a job through another company that helps veterans and spouses get hired; I know if I reached out to him today, he would do his best to find me a job. :)
Top notch organization devoted to employing veterans an wounded warriors.
Excellent organization with the prime goal of helping Wounded Warriors get meaningful jobs and be assimilated in the workforce.
I am a veteran and college graduate. I would not be employed today without the assistance of Able Forces. With dignity and respect, thank you.
I have worked with the Able Forces team for a number of years now and they consistently renew my faith in humanity with their selfless work to employ our disabled veterans. They effectively manage resources to ensure the veterans they serve receive the benefit of donations made by the public. But, at the core, the greatest service is that in providing work for disabled veterans they are restoring self sufficiency, respect and confidence.
The hiring actions of Skip and his team speak volumes about their passion and dedication to our Wounded Warrior and Disabled Veteran populations. Keep up the great work!!
Great organization. Have known them since conception so to speak. Great works they do for veterans. Just good honest people that care about our veteran population... Glad and proud to be able to call them partners with a purpose...
Great organization. Have known Skip for several yeara and the work and assistance they provide to veterans is outstanding. I have seen veterans in that direction and they have received valuable training and certifications to enable the veterans to obtain employment with the newly received certifications. They are "down-to-earth" people with one agenda... servicing veterans"...
I met the folks at Able Forces last year and have been continuously impressed by their dedication to our wounded veterans. They are smart people with great connections that tirelessly work towards their mission of getting our vets back into the workplace. Whether it's a physical or psychological impairment, Skip matches them with an appropriate group. Through getting work, these amazing warriors find their confidence and sense of worth again. Truly an amazing group of people working on a national level.
Mid 2011 I submitted my retirement packet to the Army. In January of 2012, one of my leaders told me about Able Forces and its mission to exclusively employ Wounded, Ill and Injured Veterans. I learned that its founders Skip Rogers and Joe Cunningham were looking for and Operations Manager and I decided to apply. After a few months of phone calls, emails and an interview, I was blessed with a job offer. It’s now three years later and I couldn’t be happier. Skip and Joe are the “life blood” and the beating heart of Able Forces. Most non-profits I have have reviewed cause me to pose the question “how can this be a non-profit when the founders are making $250k a year”? Skip and Joe’s dedication to taking care of Veterans is second to none and on many occasions the support for Veterans comes right out of their pockets. Able Forces is the only true non-profit I have ever come across. When Able Forces receives a donation, you can “take it to the bank” that every single penny of every single dollar will go to help Veterans in need. Able Forces is an amazing company to be a part of and I am very blessed to be a Team Member supporting the Able Forces mission.
I &Ave been an employee of Able Forces since it's inception. It is a wonderful place to work I see on a daily basis how our work helps our Veterans
I work with Transitioning Military Service Members. My goal is to bridge the gap between military job seeker and employer. Able Forces has greatly helped with providing many job opportunities to our service men and women and their families.
Great organization with a superb cause. I lead the Greater Washington DC Chpt 353, Military Order of the Purple Heart. Some of my fellow patriots have spoken very highly of the support provided by Able Forces. Also, knowing the leadership of AF for many years I'm positive that its doing what's right for our fellow veterans and is being operated in the best, most ethical manner possible. Well done to all, and good luck in the future.
Able Forces has worked hand-in-hand with the organization that employs me to improve the lives of disabled veterans such as myself. It gives me tremendous joy to see an organization that remains vigilant and dedicated to the women and men of the US Armed Forces. I always make sure to spread their job announcements to my fellow veterans, and I am even expecting to apply to an Able Forces job myself this week.
Thank you to Able Forces
Keep up the great work!
Able Forces Inc: Conscientious executives who are proven professionals distributing significant benefits to whomever they associate.
I have had the good fortune to work under their sponsorship and with that experience readily testify to the exceptional quality of their service to veteran employees and clients alike.
Through Able Forces use of social media to advertise job opportunities I have been able to pass them along to a network of others who then continue to pass the opportunities along.
Since I first met Skip at the beginning, We have been working together to get money for his charity and find jobs for his people. We have helped him many times as corp sponsor. You can always count him to help a soldier and I know he was their when i came back from Iraq. I have small business and it is time to give back. Dig deep everyone.

I needed a job in 2012 and Mr. Skip Rogers gave me an opportunity to work for him. This company is a top notch company to work for. I was very please to work here and continue to improve my career.
I WORK WITH TRANSITIONING MILITARY AND VETERANS ON A DAILY BASIS. REFERRING THEM TO AN ORGANIZATION SUCH AS ABLE FORCES ALLOWS OUR SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN NATIONWIDE TO ACCESS JOBS THAT GIVE MILITARY SKILLS THE RECOGNITION AND OPPORTUNITY THE DESERVE. WELL DONE, SKIP!
Vets with situations that stymie their easily living a normal life are given practical and emotional hands-up by Able Forces. It is wonderful to see the effect this team has on the attitude and lives of needful Vets and their families. Thank you, so much.
Skip and Kathy Rogers attend Red Cross sponsored Community Joining Forces meeting and network with and offer support to all the organizations that attend these meetings. CJF meetings bring together organizations ( Public and private, Non profits, faith based communities) that provide support and resources for the local military community which includes active duty , reservists, veterans and their families. Skip regularly sends updates of job openings that are then sent through to comunity partners. This service is extremely valuable in helping to get our disabled veterans back to work.
Able Forces has boundless compassion for the military folks it helps out. They are tireless and exuberant in their assistance. They are respectful. I also think it's wonderful that they don't forget the families involved too. If the family is taken care of, a soldier can rest easier. Thank you guys!
Able Forces is one of the most exceptional Veteran non-profits that I have the privilege to work with. They really understands the needs of transitioning Service Members/Veterans and completely go the extra mile to make sure all needs are met. Able Forces has been a great resource of information and assistance in times of need.
I have enjoyed helping Able Forces, Inc. serve the veteran community over the years. Skip Rogers and his team has a passion for the veteran's community that is
I have been an employee of Able Forces since its inception. I have seen the wonderful work that is done and how it positively affects our veterans and their families. I am so proud to work for this organization.
Meeting with these folks was a great asset to our resources as the Executive Assistant to the Adjutant General, Director of Military & Veterans Affairs.
My experience with Able Forces was very desirable both in terms of dealing with a professional nonprofit organization and in relation to the successful end-result. Able Forces worked diligently with me and on my behalf to pair me with a career I could be proud to begin. The nonprofit excels at understanding its clientele. Able Forces knows what it means to be a disabled veteran and how to help those men and women. I would recommend Able Forces and I am thankful for all they did for me personally--five stars.
I met my Able Force representative at a local VFW Job Fair in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Their immediate focus was on what they could do for me and how my military experience could open doors to future employment opportunities. I left the job fair knowing they saw me as a person and more importantly they cared about my future. Their representative followed up with me via email and over the next couple of weeks they sent me job listings for open positions being filled in my local area. Once I responded with interest in a particular position, they contacted me by phone to help me highlight my skills and what I could bring to the position. They continued to offer assistance throughout the entire employment process and it was a great comfort knowing I had their support.
Today I have a great job but I could still be unemployed without their help. I can't describe how it feels to be part of a unit and to once again contribute to the safety and security of our great nation. I would like to say a special thanks to Skip Rogers and the other members of the Able Forces team for the work they do supporting our Veterans and what they bring to the table.
I am a United States Air Force - Retired veteran who was contacted by Mr. Skip Rogers with a job opportunity. I am grateful to Mr. Rogers for the opportunity Able Forces afforded me and his dedication to seeing the process through.
Able Forces compared to others is quite well and it has a life-changing upon those who recieve their services. Able Forces is definitely and highly recommended, it's a link and a network of resources for many who will greatly appreciate! Keep up the great work !
Terrific organization...they do a great job advertise job openings, fairs and other opportunities for all of our Service Members.
As an Advisor, in the Microsoft Elevate America Veterans Program, I became aware of Able Forces at a Veteran Career Fair. In the course of my work, I assist all Veterans. Now I share with those Disabled Veterans the Employment and Training resources that Able Forces provide. Skip Rogers, the Executive Director, sends me current listings of job opportunities which I forward to Veterans in my database. The Microsoft program offers Free IT Training and Certification exams which Able Forces brings awareness to for Veterans needing an IT Certification. Able Forces is a wonderful resource for Disabled Veterans to move ahead successfully in their careers and lives.
Consistently receiving job opennings for Wounded Warriors and other information from Able Forces!
I have known the leaders of Able Forces since its founding and I have had the opportunity to witness their ingenuity, sound management, ethical practices, and absolute commitment to customer service first hand. In partiuclar, their dedication to serving our nation's veterans is exemplary.
I am a veterans Representative with the Virginia Employment Commission and Able Forces has always responded to my request to assist veterans in transition or Disabled Veterans who may need special assistance. When events to server veterans Able Forces Skip Rogers and his organization has never decline to attend.
Able Forces is a great org that really cares deeply about veterans. The passion that Skip and his team has for vets are unquestion in my mind and they rank in the top 10 of nonprofit org that help vets with employment.
Skip Rogers and Able Forces, Inc. have consistenly demonstrated their value as a veteran focused company. Not only is Skip committed to the service and deliverables that he provides on execution, he is extremely dedicated and committed to hiring our Veterans. It's a Win Win Model. Always a pleasure working with Skip and give him and his organization a big Thumbs Up!
I have worked as a employment coordinator for the past 13 years. Able Forces by far is second to none with employment for our wounded, ill and injure service members. Great work Able Forces and please keep doing what you do.
I have sought to get veterans employment in meaningful fulfilling work over the past 5 years and at times have been very discouraged at so many people talking about doing something without ever actually getting a person a job. Ability One, Skip, has become a friend through long distant communications. I was able to see his testimony before a senate hearing on the issue of Veteran and people with disabilities employment and I was completely impressed, looked up his phone number and found that he was not merely seeking to build his organization but he was willing to share everything that he had learned to help others in areas across the country. He knows what he is attempting to accomplish and the high level of intensity it takes. I know of no other organization that is as effective as Able forces in assisting disabled veterans with developing a life long career
Skip, as a leader in the community of taking care of our veterans, ABLE Forces are in the top 10. Your organization is doing a wonderful job assisting our young generation of veterans feel appreciated for their efforts of serving. Thank you for reaching the masses. I pray you continue to grow, because you're doing what it takes to create stability in so many lives.
Founder of The Resource Foundation for Women Veterans, Inc.
I am a Former Unite States Marine Corp Veteran, also a Wounded Warrior who was contacted by Skip Roger's Wanting to help me by employing me and getting me back on my feet.
I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the opportunity of working for Able Forces and getting me back on my feet and helping me with any troubles or anything I needed. I worked for Skip about 8 months before Moving on to a federal position, which I wouldn't have been able to do with out working for him first.
This Organization is beyond Amazing and is truly there for it's Nation's Veterans.

I am the Wounded Warrior Employment Program Manager in the national Capitol area but my reach extends Nation wide. I have worked with "Able Forces" for quite a few years now and I will say that they bend over "Backwards" to employ our Veterans. Skip Rogers has changed the lives of so many of our Marine Warriors and there family's from coast to coast. Keep doing what you are doing, it's a joy to have an Organization such as this one that assists Veteran. I will continue our Partnership "Forever". S/F Gary Simpson USMC Ret

I have worked with Skip, Joe and there staff since the inception of Able Forces. This organization continues to amaize me in how they reamin commited to the mission of assisting the military community. Able Forces impacts the wounded warrior community on a daily basis and exceeds there mission. It is an honor to be able to be a small part of there contined success. -Todd S. Myer
I have been involved with Able Forces since its inception and have been impressed by the dedication of its leadership to its mission. Skip Rogers and his team selflessly dedicate their lives to this important cause, working tirelessly over nights and weekends to promote their message, raise public awareness of their mission, and most importantly put disabled veterans to work performing impactful work. The growth of Able Forces over the past several years testifies to the organization's strong leadership and vision and I anticipate continued growth and success in the future.
I was lucky enough to have met Mr. Rogers and his staff over the past year. I've been to their Front Royal headquarters and have seen the fantastic facilities they have created in order to serve the wounded warriors in the D.C. area. Everyone has been passionate about taking care of the Soldier and setting them up for success by assisting them in transitioning into the civilian environment. I am in the wounded warrior project but I'm still in the transitional phase of processing out. Mr. Rogers and his wife personally visited me and educated me on what they had to offer and how I could be integrated into their program. My wife and I were invited to meet the staff of Able Forces Inc and found a bunch of people who cared for nothing less than to take care of injured veterans.
To the person I was impressed with their passion and commitment to take care of wounded warriors. To me it seems that they have written passion and commitment into their business model and have kept that emphasis as their top priority in their service to the Soldier. To understand how dedicated this team is all you have to do is visit them one time.
The US Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment has worked with Able Forces over the last 2 years to assist wounded warriors transition from military to civilian life. Able Forces' commitment and dedication to assisting wounded warriors is beyond reproach. The staff displays a level of compassion that exemplifies what organizations should exhibit when delivering services to our wounded warriors. Recently, Able Forces contacted the Regiment regarding a Marine veteran in the Huntville, AL area who was desparately in need of assistance. Due to Able Forces' determined outreach and collaborative efforts, this Marine was provided with valuable resources to assist him through a chalenging hardship period. Capt Nicholas, Deputy Transition Officer, Wounded Warrior Regiment
I have worked with members of the Able Forces, Inc, especially Skip and Joe who are veterans themselves, they have always extended themselves to make sure that the veterans, disabled veterans or anyone that they have come to them seeking thier advice have all the knowledge and attention that is so needed when you are dealing with a person that has been through so much in their lives and now have to make the changes within themselves and for their famuilies and now that they can have a fresh start maybe within a field that they always wanted to persue but never had the opportunity. I feel very honored and blessed to know these fine people. You have my commendation as truly professional persons.
As a part of my responsibilities, I assist Wounded Warriors Marines that are in that transitioning phase from active duty to becoming a civilian. Able Forces goes far beyond any organization that I have worked with in specifically helping these Veterans find the right kind of employment. Thank you Able Forces for all you do, and I hope you continue to support our veterans.
As a part of my responsibilities, I assist Disabled Veterans that are in that transitioning phase from active duty to becoming a civilian. Able Forces goes far beyond any organization that I have worked with in specifically helping these Veterans find the right kind of employment, using their skills attained while in the military, their interest, their aptitude… for many of these soldiers they have had different kinds of limitations placed on their abilities but rather than focus on disabilities we help them to use their abilities and continue to move forward. It is a huge boost to their self-esteem, their sense of belonging and making a difference. Thanks Able forces, sincerely, Mike
I have found Able Forces to be an extremely professional and well run organization. They go above and beyond to get wounded warriors placed into meaningful jobs. By meaningful, I mean jobs that pay well, have room for professional growth, and that build on the wounded warriors military experience. Whenever I have referred a veteran to Able Forces they always promptly answer with a 'what can we do to help' response. Skip and his team are great to work with. They are by far one of the better non-profit organiziations serving veterans.
My experience with Able Forces has been life-changing. I've never met a group of people so dedicated to helping our veterans. The main role Able Forces plays is to find employment for veterans who have come back from combat wounded. In some cases the vets can no longer do the job they were originally trained in due to physical or mental disabilities. Able Forces helps teach them new and relevant skills in their training facilities and then matches them up with an employer. Beyond the mission of training and employment, the Able Forces staff is highly involved with veteran organizations and make the most of community outreach. They can be found at motorcycle rallies, job fairs, charity races, concert fundraisers and more. Their motto "Focusing on the warriors, not just the wounds" could not be more indicative of their overall attitude. Their passion for serving veterans is as unwavering as the veterans who served our country.
