Mission: To provide scientifically validated intervention services to individuals with developmental disabilities including(1)direct intervention/therapeutic services (2)caregiver training/support and (3)community outreach
Programs: Direct intervention and therapeutic services: able academy provides direct intervention and therapeutic services to an average of 80 individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities ranging in age from 2 to 22 years of age for 2-40 hours per week
care giver training: all caregivers of individuals served at able academy receive hands-on, student-specific training quarterly, enhancing their child's programming and increasing consistency of therapy programs and overall rate of acquisition of appropriate behaviors
outreach training program: provide training and support to 7 local childcare centers providing care to socioeconomically challenged children. The outreach program trains the daycare staff and assists children through direct therapy and teacher and family consultation. Over 800 children are impacted through this initiative.
