This organization is absolutely wonderful. I'm a high school student and have been volunteering at ARNI for almost 6 months now. I have seen many dogs (and cats) come in looking miserable. After a few days under the care of ARNI's staff and volunteers, however, they have opened up, become more active and look much happier. It's a wonderful sight to see them change from being shy and sitting in a corner to running around in their rooms and licking everyone they see. A lot of the animals, dogs specifically, that come in were rescued from abusive situations. Some have ribs showing, are sick, or just withdrawn. ARNI's staff and volunteers work their hardest to care for these animals and get them back to tip-top shape, and it always work. By the time the animals finally get adopted they look 1000 times better than they did when they were first brought in. You can not only see the change in their physical appearance, but you can see a change in their personality as well. ARNI's is amazing!

I was greeted by smiles as I walked through the shelter doors. You wouldn't even be able to tell it was an animal shelter by how clean it smelled. Staff was very helpful. I couldn't believe how nicely the rooms were set up and the animals weren't crammed in small cages. Very spacious. When I am ready to adopt my new best friend, the ARNI Foundation will be the place I go!
