Mission: A Place 2 Call Home Atlanta's mission is partnering with homeless families to offer ● Refuge in the form of shelter; ● Resources through job skills training and life coaching; ● Relationship building strategies by encouraging community engagement and quality personal interactions
Target demographics: homeless families in obtaining shelter, security, and maintaining sustainability by navigating these families to resources and healthy relationships to strengthen communities.
Direct beneficiaries per year: families with an immediate need during hardship faced from the pandemic
Programs: A Present Need Financial assistance for families with an immediate need to prevent eviction or homelessness. First and Last Assist families in obtaining a permanent resident by assisting with down payments for first and last months' rent or mortgage. Housing & Life Skills Assistance Provide housing assistance and help develop life skills for families living in a shelter or on the streets.
