Mission: A. L. M. Charities, inc. (a. L. M. ) was incorporated on june 29, 2001 as a wisconsin nonstock non-profit corporation. A. L. M. Is organized and operated for the purpose of raising funds and distributing such funds to organizations recognized by the internal revenue service as exempt from federal income taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended (the code), and as a non-profit foundation under section 509(a) of the code. A. L. M. Directors and officers are all volunteers who receive no compensation from a. L. M. , and a. L. M. Has no employees or facilities. A. L. M. Intends to raise funds for qualifying charitable organizations chosen by a. L. M. In its sole discretion by soliciting charitable contributions from corporations and individuals in connection with their sponsorship of events planned and organized by a. L. M.
Programs: A. L. M. Charities golf classic - at this event, attendees' pay a fee to participate in a golf tournament which includes golf, lunch, dinner, and a live and silent auction. This tournament is held each september at a golf course in the la crosse area.
"digging in" - "digging in" is comprised of a number of local community projects that benefit the general population within that community. Collectively, this program provides the means for local volunteers to buy materials & provide improvements to local community organizations.
other - a. L. M. Charities' strives to make an impact within its community. Grants of excess unrestricted contributions are periodically given to organizations within the community. These grants are not attributable to any specific event & are generally minor in amount.
