Mission: A kid's place provides a safe, loving, and nurturing home to foster children. Our primary focus is to keep sibling groups together in a safe, stable, home-like environment until a more permanent placement can be provided.
Programs: A kid's place provides a variety of services including case management, assessments (to include medical, psychological, dental, and behavioral), and life skills education. A kid's place has partnered with other community providers to deliver a wide range of services based on each child's needs. A house parent model and trauma informed care approach is utilized to help the children begin to heal from the trauma they've endured. A kid's place provides placement for sibling groups; these groups are typically difficult to place in one setting and are, consequently, in danger of being separated if placed immediately in foster homes.
