Results: Support for A Brighter Path Foundation has made it possible to: > Significantly increase the number of children participating in our SEE summer camp—giving the experience of independence to blind and visually impaired kids. > Expand the Focus on Literacy program that provides at-home access to adaptive technologies to children and families for reading and learning. As a result, our students are excelling, corresponding with each other, and moving towards greater independence. > Fund a new Mobile Care program, through our Community Low Vision Center, offering specialty exams and low vision aids to persons in rural communities. This new endeavor allows us to provide outreach beyond the Forsyth County region and serve more people with vision loss.
