Causes: Education
Mission: To support the artistic development of writers throughout alaska, foster a writing community, and build an audience for literature.
Programs: Writing instruction. We offered approximately 160 hours of writing instruction across alaska. Courses ranged from weekly to single day engagements presented in person and online. Instruction was supplemented by numerous literary events and a collaborative blog.
retreat. Our annual tutka bay writers retreat occurred in the fall. This multi-day residential instructional program was led by debra magpie earling.
