Mission: 4 Walls and Beyond is driven by the mission: to provide educational support, mentorship, and essential resources to underserved communities, empowering them to lead healthy and successful lives. By cultivating learning, we aim to break the cycle of poverty, foster youth to pursue their dreams, and create sustainable change and healing within our community. We are an organization of experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children. We are dedicated to providing support, guidance, and resources to children affected by the incarceration of a parent, as well as to local disadvantaged youth. We are determined to provide them with the tools they need to break down barriers, strive for success, and flourish in their own environment. Our efforts are to empower these children and families by providing them with the resources they need to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Target demographics: children and youth
Direct beneficiaries per year: 125 students, 100 local residents and families in underserved communities.
Geographic areas served: in the underserved communities in the City of St. Louis, MO
Programs: after-school tutoring, arts and crafts, physical activities, STEM activities, and group discussions, aiming to support the children in developing both their intellectual and interpersonal skills.
