Nonprofit Overview

Mission: To revitalize depressed communities; planning, directing and coordinating a variety of services in the social, health, economic, educational, and spiritual development of families and communities; and assisting in the development of business opportunities for the underemployed and unemployed residents of distressed communities.

Target demographics: combat community deterioration

Direct beneficiaries per year: Worked with the local hospital in Miller County (an economically depressed county) to provide the land for the construction of a much needed Dialysis Center.Rescued Ellis countys oldest historic farmstead from being used as fire target practice.

Geographic areas served: Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia

Programs: Intergenerational education; job creation; renovation of historic structures; construction of new community-oriented housing structures with porches fronting on green spaces; and creation of opportunities for intergenerational interaction, which will allow the elderly to mentor children and, in reverse, allow the youth in the community to enrich the lives of those older than them. With respect to job creation, the Organization intends to provide underemployed and unemployed individuals with employment opportunities, in particular educating such individuals about the ways in which e-commerce can provide a viable and sustainable marketplace to sell their wares over the internet. The Organization believes that revitalizing depressed communities will make them attractive to retirees and individuals from younger generations, which will have the long-term effect of keeping the communities alive and growing for years to come.

I have known Bridgette for more than 25 years. Her commitment and that of her husband Steve to 360 grassroots is remarkable. They have taken a gift of free land and designed a multiuse project that will that will provide jobs and training for each. The restaurants will provide not only excellent food but also training and apprenticeships in business. In addition to restaurants, there will be a bed and breakfast hotel to train young people in hospitality.
Volunteers from the community have already been involved in clearing land and helping with events.
This nonprofit project will provide a place for families to come together and work in a community garden or attend an eventl

Farmstead is going to be a great asset to our community! My family is a huge supporter of what they stand for and we are excited to see how they will impact our community. My daughter was able to help contribute to their cause and had a blast. I wish nothing but the best for them in all future endeavors.

I am a volunteer for Steve & Bridgette Hawks. I have believed in the 360 grassroots & Farmstead projects since I first heard about it. The mission is to preserve & enhance our Heritage of Midlothian Texas. It provides opportunities for community interaction. I have been Blessed to work beside Steve & Bridgette. They are Courageous, Considerate, impartial,
caring, passionate, diligent, ambitious, amiable & very kind hearted. The project Farmstead will benefit everyone of Midlothian. It will provide dining, shopping, Arts and plenty of programs that will bring the community together. Farmstead is about saving historic structures. Bringing unity in our town. It will be the light on the hill off Hwy 67 of Midlothian. I say build Farmstead before the people can make the trip. Build it anyway. I know one day The people will come. Invest in Farmstead . Roads & sidewalks need to be put
in. Relocating Structures. Putting in water and electric .exc. Contributions & Volunteering to make this Dream happen. The youth and Children that made art for the seniors is just the start of great things to come. The youth and adults that helped clean Bella woods up for a wedding. Helping people is what this is all about. 360 youth to old. Learn from each other. Back to our roots. Where people came together & cared for each other. No matter who we are. We are all God's Children. Bobby Frizzell teaching our youth. Taking time with them.
Letting them express their views & thoughts. Steve is meek and a sweetness we need in this world. Bridgette with a vision like no other I have ever seen. Love for people and taking time for our kids. People come first with her. I am the blessed one to have God place me in their path . I believe in these people and the projects. I am excited to help and know this will bring prosperity to Midlothian. Also to all the people involved. They are dedicated to reuse
of buildings and materials. Anna & others have creative programs coming. Farmstead will have many Specialty shops , dining, flowers and garden walkways. Programs for young & old. Art's and Music. It will be so relaxing and Fun for All. So Please give what you can.
Thank you for your time and Blessings.

What a blessing to have and organization willing to pull individuals together in an organized fashion to not only help them over come obstacles in life but to provide a sustainable resource to better themselves for generations to come. Talk about leaving an inheritance for your children's children. This organization truly has a heart to better the community, by empowering individuals mentally and economically and teaching them to fish for themselves.

What I love most is the multicultural approach that is truly an effort to exemplify "One nation under God".

This non-profit is one of the best i have seen. Their trash to treasure idea is so biblical to me. They will take your trash and turn it to treasure. If you think about it, this is what God does through his son Jesus Christ. Through his grace and mercy he turns a wretch like me (trash), into his glory (treasure) through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just like God sent his son to save the world, he sent this organization to revitalize its beauty.

360grassroots has attracted some of the greatest talent that we have ever worked with as it relates to public charities!
Amanda Skinner for her faith to step out and take a risk. For her proven track record to execute and deliver with the highest of integrity and humor (yes humor!)
Earle Jones, a seasoned expert in economic development, determined and dedicated to support, encourage, and roll up his sleeves to "get her done".
Dean Boyd for his talent and heart to donate up to 300 community service hours to make this world a better place!!!
Because I have a deadline line.... I need to stop for now and will pick this up. We can go on and on with the people who are making 360 grassroots communities a reality!!

I am extremely excited about the vision 360 Grassroots has put forward for our community. The Farmstead embodies the values on which this area was founded, and brings back some of the timeless qualities that make small-town America great. There is no doubt in my mind that this project will establish Midlothian as a true gateway destination, and an example of what sustainable communities should look like”
