Mission: The 3 rivers wet weather, inc. (organization) demonstration program is committed to improving the quality of allegheny county's water resources by helping communities address the issue of untreated sewage and stormwater overflowing in the region's waterways. To promote the most cost-effective, long-term, sustainable solutions, the organization benchmarks sewer technology, provides financial grants, educates the public, and advocates inter-municipal partnerships.
Programs: Assistance provided to municipalities in allegheny county toward complying with dep and allegheny county health department administrative consent decrees with regard to sewage collection including construction and project improvement funding to address sewage and storm water treatment and conveyance matters.
