Causes: Food, Food Banks & Pantries
Mission: The 29 Palms Community Food pantry provides non-perishable food items to those who have fallen on temporary “hard times.” The food items provide are designed to sustain our neighbors for an average of 2 - 3 days. During the Thanksgiving holiday, we provide monetary assistance to Food For Life an organization that provides a prepared home-cooked meal to those who come to the center. For Christmas, the food pantry provides a complete Christmas dinner for our neighbors which they take home and prepare.
Geographic areas served: 29 Palms, Wonder Valley and MCAGCC
Programs: Emergency food and shelter program servicing 5000 people in the 29 palms area hours of operation are mon - fri 930 to 1130 2nd and 4th wed of each month 1700 to 1830
