Mission: 2 Seconds Or Less is an organization dedicated to ending childhood malnutrition with it’s sustainable solutions to hunger. We put nutrition gardens at government schools and educate on nutrition and farming to empower children to break the cycle of poverty both at home and around the world.
Target demographics: impoverished children, their families and communities
Direct beneficiaries per year: 850 students of Doma Primary School Zimbabwe
Geographic areas served: Zimbabwe Government Schools, expanding US programs
Programs: According to the World Bank, growth in agriculture has at least twice the potential impact of any other sector for reducing poverty around the world. It has the ability to support livelihood through sustainable income generation and holistic health care. Through our program work, students learn that to grow up and become a farmer is not a desperate end, but a hopeful beginning. 2 Seconds Or Less is currently dedicated to combating malnutrition in Zimbabwe, Africa. By planting nutrition gardens at government schools, we empower children in Zimbabwe through education in sustainable farming. We have big plans for future programs in the United States and around the world.
