I found a dog named Waffles that I was interested in, so i sent in an application. It says on their website that they proccess all applications within 48 hours. However, I didn't receive an answer until about 3 weeks later after I had sent about 7 applications! And you know what the first thing Bill Smith said to me was? "Are you still interested in adopting Waffles?". Ummm... I only sent in 7 adoption aplications! Even though i was mad, I chose to be respectful and kind, and I told him I was still interested. Well, after about 2 weeks, he still didn't get back, even though I sent him a few emails asking if we were approved. FINALLY he got back, and told me we can't have her because our "fence doesn't look secure". He never even came to see our house! I think he just looked up a picture on google and judged by that. l read other reviews that say Bill Smith is not nice and WAY to pickey about who he adopts to, but I still gave him a chance. All I can say is he confirmed himself as a unresponsive and disagreeable man. And I'm not just saying this because he didn't let me have the dog. I was very nice to him in my emails, but he was very short and unfriendly back. Also, for those of you who dont know, Bill Smith is the founder of Main Line Animal Rescue, so if you want additional information about how he runs his "rescue", go check out their reviews. I promise you they're not much better. One more thing, if you want to get a hold of him, your only hope is by email. I called both phone numbers on 1love4animals website, and one was disconnected, and the other always has a full voicemail. How convenient! And don't bother visiting their building either, because I couldn't locate it. Who knows if it even exists? All I can say is my experience with 1love4animals screamed FRAUD! Something is wrong with the place, and it's probably best to avoid it. As for Bill Smith, I think his initials say it all. I would give this "rescue" 0 stars, but that wasn't an option.
