Causes: Children & Youth, Foster Care
Mission: Our mission is to empower adults to prevent and respond to child exploitation with Christ-centered justice.
Results: 10.18 Strategy began in 2019 because a group of moms learned that most endangered and abused children within the Kansas City metro and throughout the United States were not protected through standard governmental programs. Our efforts are driven by the pursuit of a vision to provide a world where children are safe, valued, loved, chosen, wanted, and cherished. In 2021, we completed three community events, partnered with dozens of local organizations, and had the privilege of serving over 2,200 children. Simultaneously, we completed over 600 hours of collaboration with child advocacy, welfare professionals, and survivors to produce our Watchful Eye and Child Advocacy trainings. Also, we completed an in-depth research/analysis of 20 years worth of federal reports for our Awareness Program and conducted a national survey. Prevention Training Program was launched in 2022.
