Mission: To enrich the quality of life in whitefish by fostering philathropy,building endowments and helping donors and nonprofits benefit our community.
Programs: Wcf grant programs: awarded grants totaling $169,215 to 54 local organizations that support arts & culture, health & human services, education, sports & recreation, conservation and civic activities. Including 3 major grants totaling $73,500 to preserve our watershed, keep aquatic invasive species out of our lake, and to build the center for sustainability at the high school.
great fish community challenge: held a seven-week long fundraising campaign which helped 45 area nonprofits raise over $1. 6m and provided an additional $412,000 in matching grants from the organization's grant funds. The organization also processed all gifts and provided all printed materials, advertising and marketing at an approximate cost to the organization of over $100,000.
